New year!!!! Resolutions or not

It’s a new year and as widely acclaimed, a new decade. I know a lot of people are excited for new projects, new jobs and school session. I’m so hyped about this year because a lot of my friends are having new projects I’d love to support!!!

A lot of people think resolutions are overrated and the new year is just another regular day. You’re right, it’s just another day but the thought of a “new” year, a new month or even a new week gives people a new timeline and we tend to look at it as an opportunity to do something new, something better or correct mistakes of the past. There’s nothing wrong with having resolutions as far as they are realistic!

I’ll be telling y’all about my goals for this year so you can hold me accountable. Here we go:

Consistent exercises

This is one of my major problems in 2019. I’m OBSESSED with trim body and flat stomach. I’m always worrying about what I eat and how it affects my stomach. One additional inch and I’m working out immediately. But towards the end of last year, I discovered stair-runs as my thing! I have very low endurance and I hope to improve that this year.

Fight procrastination

Eh God! Anyone that knows me knows that I’m the Queen of procrastination. I’ve been putting the blog off for like a year or so but I finally created last year. I also talk about working out more than I actually work out because I can always do it “tomorrow”. I really hope I get proactive this year cos I have so much plans!!! I’m so excited for them.

Eat healthy food

Everyone knows I’m a junk food person. Last year, I ate without schedules, starved because I was gained so much weight, ate late and made all sorts of unhealthy choices. So this year, I’d like to eat more healthy meals and have more healthy snacks. In between my regular cake and ice cream diet, of course.

Visit more restaurants

Ugh! This is so my thing and I’ve been slacking. I really want to do a restaurant tour this year. Lagos has so many restaurants and new ones keep popping up everyday!!! My goal is to visit up to 20 restaurants this year.

Steady income

As much as I’d love to work on my own terms and follow my dreams, I need to be able to fund my hobbies and my expensive lifestyle. So, I need a stable job to help with with the cash flow, preferably a 9-5, hopefully, this month. Finger crossed.

That’s all I can remember right now. Y’all can tell me your goals for this year in the comment section!!! And of course, if you’ve started achieving them. Ciao!!!
