It’s the holidays!!! Whoop whoop!!!!! Happy holidays everyone. I hope we are all having fun, maybe more fun than me. Before the new year, it’s usually a thing to be thankful for the past year and set new goals for the new year. Here are some of the things I’m thankful for this year:
I’m thankful for my new family. My partner’s family has been great to me and have kept me sane for a better part of this year. This, I’m thankful for. They are great liberal people who are of the opinion of “live and let’s live”. That kind of mindset is very rare in their generation. I’m really thankful for that.
Friends from the rage. Most of my real friends are from the rage. I can count the others on one hand. They’ve been really supportive and amazing. I can’t thank them enough. I went through the most earlier this year and they were there for me. They also threw me a shower. They are literally family for me. Thank you so much. I love y’all.
My partner. My partner is the most supportive person in the whole wide world like I used to say as a kid. He’s awesome and amazing. I’d like to say he’s the best human but I’m probably bias.
I’m also thankful for my friendship with Bad Influence. We had one of the simplest and most beautiful transitions from classmates to being actual friends. I’m mentioning this because little things matter.
John. That’s it. That’s the “tweet”. I’m using his first name because I have no nickname for him like I have for most of my friends. This person is getting a mention because apart from being supportive and annoying, he inspires me to work harder and aim higher.
Graduation. Whoop whoop!!! I wrote my last paper on the first day of November, I was just so excited to finish school. It’s been five long years. I’m not ready to start actually working for money even though I want the money. Sad, right? I know. This year could have been better but also, could have been worse.
I’m also thankful for my health. Ugh, this year has been a roller-coaster from my physical health to my mental health, especially my mental health. I’m really thankful for my friends because they held me down even when I couldn’t hold myself.
And to the many doctors that rallied around me and helped me in one way or the other, I say a big thank you. I couldn’t have done this without them. I love you all.
I’m sure I’ve covered almost everything that happened this year and everyone. I’m so excited for the new year and new opportunities after school.
Tell me what you’re thankful for this year!!!
You had a dream 😂😂
