Two words/phrases that make me happy

I’m rarely happy compared to being sad or feeling average and that’s why I like to note moments when I’m happy or things that make me happy.

I love when people call me crystallikethechampagne. It makes me smile instantly and that’s why I use it almost everywhere. The history of this name is funny and somehow. So, I joined a book club and my WhatsApp name was Crystal, so someone said Crystal like the champagne. And another person said it , then they both began to talk about the character from the series. Y’all, I just read everything and pretended to understand. It’s a character from Boondocks. She was a slut and wore heels. She was dating an older man in that episode. That’s how I got the name and I totally love it.

The second thing is unexpected credit alerts. I love credit alerts. I love seeing money in my account. But unfortunately, I don’t get them enough for the amount of joy they bring me. The fact that the alert was unexpected excites me. Credit alerts make me happy but when it has a purpose before getting it, it doesn’t seem so exciting anymore. The point is I like free money, money that has not been budgeted. Awesome af. I have this irrational fear of being poor. There’s nothing I like more in this world than choice. The ability to choice, availability of options. Money brings options, so I need to have money.

My fear is so terrible it affects my mental health. Every time my account balance goes lower than a certain amount, I cut off food and hate stepping out, into the sun or anything. I curl up into myself and don’t want to do anything. I get mad depressed and everything turns to a chore. It gets so bad, I become sick. So, I try to get money before my account balance reaches a certain level. I try to get comfortable with it but damn, it’s hard.

That’s also the time I hate getting free stuff, I feel like people know that I’m broke and that’s why they are being nice even though those people have always been nice to me. It’s really tough trying to calm myself down and living through it but I’m getting better at it. So, send me money y’all.
